How to take a full-page screenshot?

If you have been searching around for a way to take a full-page screenshot on macOS or Windows, so I assure you that you’ll find your answer here.

You can take a full-page screenshot with different applications such as TechSmith Snagit, and many other apps. However, all apps comes at a cost.

Once downloaded and activating your 15-day trial version,

  • Press capture

  • Choose the capture a panoramic scrolling image option
  • Click start
  • Use the scroll function to capture the entire page
  • Click stop to save the screenshot

Hint: you can reset the 15-days trial and get additional 15-days, see more.

Alternatively, you can achieve the same outcome without downloading or purchasing any additional applications.

Using Safari

First, you need to activate the Develop tab (if you haven’t yet)

Go to Safari > Preferences > Advanced > ☑️ Show Develop menu in menu bar

Once done, navigate to the page > right-click anywhere on the page > choose Inspect element

Go to the HTML tag > right-click > choose Capture Screenshot

🎉 Congratulations!! Now you’ll be prompted with a pop-up to save the screenshot.

Using Chrome / Firefox

Command (or Cmd) ⌘ + Option (or Alt) ⌥ + I

or right-click > inspect

Command (or Cmd) ⌘ + Shift ⇧ + P

Open the command page using the following keyboard shortcut ⌘ + ⇧ + P

Or from the more (ellipsis) icon > Run command
